Announcing the OpenTTS project, a fork of speech-dispatcher

The GNOME accessibility community has created a new TTS project - OpenTTS - which is a fork of the Brailcom SpeechDispatcher work. This is the home of new GNOME/UNIX/Linux text-to-speech driver API layer.
Our eSpeak work would plug into this (it in fact already does, through the eSpeak driver already written and forking to OpenTTS along with the rest of OpenTTS).
This may be a good, and "neutral" home for our work in the community.
The other of course is the eSpeak project itself. We need to see how OpenTTS evolves in the coming weeks/months.
